Tshirt to Tote Bag

T-shirt to Tote Bag: This project teaches anyone how to repurpose old T-shirts into practical tote bags. It’s easy—no sewing machine is needed for a basic version!

Steps

Step 1: Laying the t-shirt flat, cut the sleeve along the seams, creating the handles. To create the bag’s opening cut a wider hold around the neck in a wide oval shape

Step 2: Either eyeballing it or using a marker, cut from the bottom of the shirt to create the tote bag as long or short as you want

Step 3: Using your fabric glue, place it a few centimeters away from the tote’s edges

Step 4: Wait for it to dry, turn it inside out and your recycled tote bag is done!
